Haifa Ben Abdullah is the Executive Director of the DAAM Foundation (DAAM Tunisie), one of Tunisia’s leading institutions in microfinance and economic empowerment. The foundation focuses on promoting financial inclusion and supporting the growth journey of micro and small enterprises through tailored and innovative financial solutions.

With a strong vision for inclusive economic development, Haifa leads strategic programs aimed at facilitating access to financial and entrepreneurial support—particularly for women and youth. Her work plays a key role in helping informal entrepreneurs transition to the formal economy and contribute more effectively to national economic growth.

As a champion of digital transformation in inclusive finance, Haifa has spearheaded several impactful initiatives such as the Njeri App and the E3 Path digital program. Under her leadership, DAAM has expanded its reach through strategic partnerships with national and international institutions including the Centre de Facilitation des Entreprises (CFE) and the Réseau des Femmes d’Affaires du Québec (RFAQ).

In recognition of her commitment to advancing gender equality and women’s participation in economic life, Haifa Ben Abdullah received the Commitment Award for the Promotion of Gender Parity. She is widely regarded as one of the most influential voices in entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, and inclusive economic development across Tunisia and the Maghreb region.
